Tales of Orlando High
The publication of Tales of Orlando High by The American Mastodon, a division of West Oakland Imports is of peculiar interest. It is a horror classic, twisting actual tales from the school and common adolescent fears. Orlando High School, was once, one of two high schools in Orlando, Florida during the era of Segregation (Jones High School-Afro American). Today, the campus is the site of Howard Middle School. However, the OHS Leathers, awards, and legacy still grace the lobby of Howard, as a testament of earlier times.
Tales of Orlando High written by Cowan Amaye-Obu, a former teacher at Howard Middle School is available by e book, for purchase on Amazon. Additional formats, such as paperback and audiobook will be available early March 2019. "Based on Tru-ish stories," these tales of horror are sure to capture its young audience, encourage reading, and leave the adults to ask, did these stories really happen?
