The Background
In late January 2022, under the constant violent invasion by ISIS of the Sahel, Al'Qaida in the Land of Islamic Maghreb, Jamaat Nusrat (JNIM), and waves of Islamic Extremists besieging West Africa for territory and natural resources, the military of Burkina Faso deposed their then, President Roch Marc Christian Kabore, Prime Minister Lassina Zerbo, & Head of Parliament Alassane Sakande, placing all under military house arrest. The former Bankers, politicians, and geophysicians, were accused of being incapable of stopping the onslaught of Jihadists attacks across the country. They were also suspected of grossly inequiping of supplies to soldiers at war, coordinating with the Jihadists and other foreign agents to destabilize the nation of Burkina Faso, in an effort to sale off large portions of mineral rich regions. Due to the January Coup De'Tat, international support for their security intervention was condemned and their continental membership was suspended in the African Union, and the United States & Western European sponsored, Economic Community of West African States, or ECOWAS. Later, other leading government officials would also be arrested including the Finance Minister, who had been given 72 hours to return the people of Burkina Faso's money or face execution. In their stead, a military junta, lead by Military Officer, Paul-Henri Damiba promised to defeat the Islamic insurgency and restore security to Burkina Faso. In an effort to resolve foreign anxiety, Dambia created a three year charter and also promised to hold elections to return Burkina Faso to civilian rule, in compliance with objectives set by ECOWAS and the African Union. The Burkina Faso January coup de'tat was widely cheered on by the population with rallies and celebration. However, after eight months, the Islamic insurgency increased their control to over 40% of Burkina Faso's territory, and soldiers remained ill equipped & unpaid. Officer and appointed President Damibia, was deposed in another coup de'tat in September 2022, for a leader capable of restoring security for the people, equipping soldiers, and the territorial borders of Burkina Faso. Captain Ibrahim Traore is that leader.

A Nefarious Design
"There is a link between terrorism and imperialism -President Ibrahim Traore 2025."
Popular western media is silent about the Islamic Jihad taking place on the continent of Africa. Led by ISIS of the Sahel, Al'Qaeda of the Maghreb, and other Islamic Extremist attempting to capture mineral rich regions across Africa to fund their operations, under heavy sanction by the Western Europe and the United States. This has led Jihadist to invade the entire continent with well funded and equipped campaigns to sustain long engagements across North, Central, East, South, and West Africa. The Islamic Extremists attach their aims to local tribes for boots on the ground, in an attempt to physically capture and diversify their sources of currency. At first appearance, this seems like a benign violent struggle against invaders. At close look, these non-State foreign organizations' investment in ulterior currencies, allows circumventing the Western sanctions, since multinational corporations, banks, and governments continue to purchase needed supplies according to demand and not the buyer. Gold, diamonds, oil, and other minerals have become commodities Jihadists have invaded villages and killed innocence in masses for. Then, the resources are sold to the highest bidder and often, has been traced to emerging financial centers in the Middle East, like Abu Dhabi, or Riyadh. The entire operation gives rise to a nefarious design by Islamic Capitalists to usher in a second age of Islamic Colonialization of the continent of Africa. The nefarious added reward for the West, has been the destabilization of Africa, which works to ensure spheres of continual European colonial domination in various forms. The seeds of these invasions is the Libya and Syrian Civil Wars, sparked by US President Obama's sanctioned assassination of Muammar Qaddafi.

The War Over My Brother's Betrayal
Traore's campaign against Jihadism, is a regional response to the widespread outbreak of attacks across West Africa from Chad, Niger, Mali, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Mauritania. The scope of the invasion placing every population in West Africa, at risk, with over 80 attacks per month according to NATO reports. The massive emergency led to similar coup de'tats in Mali (2021) Guinea (2021) and Niger (2023), to predated and coincide with Burkina Faso. It is very important for the African Diaspora and readers to understand, in 2022, West Africa was set for a complete Total War, as Western sponsored, ECOWAS, demanded the release of the President of Burkina Faso, under house arrest. His resignation and the starch determination of the military junta became a stalemate, as leaders of ECOWAS,North & West Africa could see the invisible hand of foreign agents pushing West Africa to war instead of collaboration against a common enemy. The Alliance of Sahel States, was formed by the military juntas of Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger to coordinate a proper defense against the Jihadist threat and foreign influence. The magnitude of this moment in West Africa cannot be understated because the failure of the governments to successfully defend itself from Jihad, is the fall of the 20th Century liberated nations of Africa and the birth of a new age Islamic colonialism through a new Islamic Caliphate in Africa. Ibrahim Traore resumed the aims of the Burkina Faso coup de'tat. Gold exports would be banned and nationalized to both fund the national effort and to tackle the illicit trade of gold smuggling, which had been fueling the Jihadism. Food insecurity and a growing population starved due to a protracted war, pushed Traore to enact a national farmer alliance, where the government provided farmers with seed and supplies to farm. This program has been popular and is helping thousands of people in Burkina Faso become self sufficient within the past year. In strict observation of the security failure in Burkina Faso, under the watchful eyes of the French Military, Traore, requested the removal of French Forces. The loss of territory was either intentional, by neglect, or lack of ability to secure the nation, in any way the French military was asked to leave. This development both military and financial is major in the region. Unfortunately, remarks by French President Emmanuel Macron, led to the French military being asked to leave Niger and Mali as well. France, former colonial ruler of most of West Africa, still has major financial and military power in the region, often taking observation stances in the middle of nefarious invasions of their allies. To fill the void for military advice, since all obvious intelligence suggests the West, as restructuring in back room deals and sanctions economy, to remain in Africa, Traore sought out assistance from Russia and Turkiye. In July 2023, the Russian Embassy was reopened in the capital, Ouagadougou and as of January 2024, Russian troops have been on the ground fighting against invading Jihadists. The war of "My Brother's Betrayal" continues...

transcend the tumultuous pressure to capitalize and Occidentalize
their national realms in the face of modernization. These contemporary
figures exemplify the courage, understanding, vigilance, and
sophisticated posture, in the face of true orchestrated violence,
pressing foreign interests, and the gravity of the present needs of
their citizens, and the people of Africa. The African Presidents of the Week, are our Beacons of Progress into the African 21st Century and beyond.
Today's
international climate has not only seen the reemergence of divisions
based on race, religion, class, and political agenda, but the invisible
hand of massive multinational corporations, the expansion
of state and non-state military systems or security councils, the boom in communication technology, and the
drawing of lines in a new 21st Century age of Colonization by Europeans
Capitalists, Islamic Fundamentalist, and all those who oppose them,
including Communists. In the face of an openly declared jihad against
Africa, The American Mastodon Publication would like to declare
President Ibrahim Traore, The African President of the Week. The entire
continent and Diaspora, thanks you for your service to your country and
the inspiration of example you've made to us to continue to fight,
struggle, and achieve victory against the enemies of the original people
on Earth.
The Post Development
Given the above background and story, recent developments by the US Pentagon to direct Gen. Michael Langley to act against President Traore, a hero, and the youngest President in the world, prompted this article, which in part discusses the Jihad in Africa and sheds light on the Presidents of Mali, and Niger, who equally deserve recognition for their fight against Jihad. It is also to acknowledge the miscalculation of the Pentagon adverse step, which if taken would precipitate not only the entire continent of Africa, but Africans in Diaspora to subvert American influence worldwide openly, economically, and potentially physically.
