Our Publishing House Blitz of 2019: The Welcome
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Welcome to a platform for African American artists, authors, graphic designers, video producers & Directors. The elephant in the room in the United States is race and unfortunately, hatred & bigotry from the Publishing Houses, to Hollywood and the Universities, has prevented quality, self-made African American art from flourishing in this country. Nothing is more important to a group of people than to produce what is needed for themselves, especial art, which is a reflection of reality. When one does not produce the art of one's culture, then one can be savagely manipulated, misrepresented, and mislead. This 2019, The American Mastodon Publication, a division of West Oakland Imports, will be producing and publishing a number of African American literary works. These works will be in the various genres, from fiction to nonfiction, Romance to Reference. And all of our works come from the collaboration within the Afro community. Our primary sales will be used to establish this company, build our quality brand, and solicit the best African American talent we can afford. This week, AMP under the publishing Imprint of West Oakland Imports, published two titles:
The African Diaspora Census 2017-2018 by Mr. Cowan Amaye-Obu and
Two Weeks to Say Goodbye by Uriel Wise.
Please go out and support these works as we begin to lay the blueprint for publishing successful works. The sky is the limit for this endeavor as we work to bring to market literature & art from the African American perspective. For questions, comments, concerns, or donations, please email me at
TheAmericanMastodonPublication@gmail.com or PeterLCommons@gmail.com. Thank you and welcome to the family!
